Tupelo Music Hall - Bruce Marshall

Offering an unforgettable concert experience

Anyone who has been lucky enough to see a show at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire, can tell you how special this venue is. Known for its atmosphere that fosters listening, good acoustics, and the best quality sound reinforcement, the Tupelo Music Hall has hosted regional and nationally known artists in an intimate setting that provides for the comfort of the performer as well as the audience—and this unique experience will now be available right in Vermont.

Tupelo owner Scott Hayward and Mike Davidson of Execusuite, LLC, recently announced that a second Tupelo location will open in October in the historic Boston and Maine Freight House on South Main Street in White River Junction. “Patrons can expect a completely different musical experience than anything before,” says Hayward. “The design is purposefully intimate and casual. Upon entering, patrons will find warm colors and soft, comfortable chairs. The natural wood flooring of the Freight House is being preserved and refinished to add to the warmth. Nobody will be seated more than 35 feet from the stage.”

“I’m very pleased to be a part of bringing Tupelo to White River,” says Davidson, who owns the Boston and Maine Freight House. “Scott has a fantastic track record in New Hampshire, and the new venue will add an exciting new dimension to the cultural and entertainment scenes in the Upper Valley. The new facility will be beautiful.”

Because of Hayward’s philosophy, the New Hampshire location as been able to attract a caliber of performer who generally would play much larger venues. “Patrons will see their favorite national artists playing the intimate venue, and will typically have access to these artists after the show for signing autographs and saying ‘hello,’” says Hayward. “Artists almost always fall in love with the venue because of the fine acoustics, the intimacy with the audience, and the patrons’ respect for the music.”

Like the New Hampshire location, Tupelo Vermont will present music in a variety of genres performed by legendary artists as well as rising stars. A monthly comedy show will also be on the schedule.
