Paid placements and advertorials are both forms of Native Advertising which is a “form of online advertising that matches the form and function of the platform on which it appears”. In our case that means content that educates, informs or entertains our readers while highlighting your expertise/brand to build a trusted relationship with consumers in a single long-term investment. We call it a long-term investment because once published to our sites it will continue to provide value to you well into the future because it will remain searchable by Goolge, Bing and other search engines long after it “falls off” the home page.

Sponsored Content

Sponsored content on the other hand is a way to demonstrate alignment with a particular topic or set of values that doesn’t require you to produce the content. Basically you to tag along for the ride with content created by our editorial staff and other contributors.

Example: A sporting goods store sponsoring a local sports column.
